Fertilizer Program
Fertilizer is Available at L-C Office (101 Down River Rd, Lewiston, ID).
Be sure to use slow-release fertilizer for spring and fall applications and use per directions. A good growing lawn requires about 5 pounds of fertilizer per 1000 square feet and should be applied during periods of growth.
Listed Below is a List of Lawn Care Recommendations:
Feb. 15th - Mar. 15th
Crabgrass preventer with fertilizer.
* April. 1st - Apr. 15th
16-16-16 Fertilizer.
May 15th - June 1st
16-16-16 Fertilizer.
July 1st - Aug. 1st
20.5/21-0-0 Fertilizer (Temperature does not matter).
** Sept. 1st - Oct. 1st
16-8-7-17 or 16-16-16 Fertilizer.
Oct. 15th - Nov. 1st
Fall & Winter.
* Apply products for sod webworm or billbug in spring (April) earlier if weather is unusually warm. Second application may be necessary in mid summer.
** For hard clay soils in the Heights and Orchards, or if using a fertilizer with no sulfur, apply gypsum, preferably in early fall if possible (September).
All material is guaranteed with proper care for 1 year. Improper care; over/under watering, over/under fertilizing, natural disasters and pre-existing conditions beyond the control of LC Lawn & Landscape voids guarantee. Sprinkler systems are guaranteed for 2 years from date of installation. (Parts only: labor not included).
